The show is hosted by the 911th Airlift Wing, located at the Pittsburgh International Airport Air Reserve Station.  We are located off Business I-376 at the Thorn Run Road exit.  Use the Contact Us/Directions link to get specific directions to the base.

WHERE IS THE SHOW?

We apologize but we cannot.  Our flying times need to be flexible since we’re operating out of a very busy international airport.  Due to this as well as security concerns we cannot publish a schedule.

DO YOU PUBLISH A FLYING SCHEDULE?

Yes, the scheduled lineup is the same for both days.  The order may differ but all acts fly both days.

ARE BOTH DAYS’ FLYING EVENTS THE SAME?

The ramp is open from 9AM to 5PM; HOWEVER, we will not admit anyone after 3PM since we need to turn the traffic lanes around for after the show.  PLEASE do yourself a favor and come early!!!  You have to be inside the gates by 3PM or you will be turned away!  Also be aware if our parking lots fill up we have to turn people away.  We will ensure you receive this information if this happens.  Monitor Facebook/Twitter if you have a smartphone.

WHAT ARE THE HOURS OF THE SHOW?

Wagons and strollers are a great idea for the kids.  Folding chairs are a great idea for everyone else.  Cameras are okay in all public locations on the base.  Coolers are prohibited; you are not permitted to bring your own food and beverages onto the base.  All people attending the show are subject to search.  A good rule of thumb is don’t bring anything you couldn’t take on an airline flight (guns, knives, mace, etc).  Remember, we are hosting this at a military installation and we need to maintain the security of Department of Defense assets and personnel.  The following items are strictly prohibited; however, this list is NOT all-inclusive:

Backpacks, duffle bags, coolers, scooters, pets, balloons, brass knuckles, box cutters, darts, fireworks, alcoholic beverages, large purses, camelbacks, bicycles, skates, nunchuks, knives, razor blades, firearms, mace/pepper spray, paint, illegal drugs, water guns, and uniforms worn by non-military persons.

WHAT CAN I BRING TO THE SHOW?

Both are free to everyone, really!  Handicapped parking is also available.

WHERE CAN I PARK FOR THE SHOW?

There will be various parking lots around the area for air show patron use.  Follow the signs you will see when you get close to the base.  Parking areas outside walking distance will have buses running to shuttle you to and from the base.  Please pay attention to where your car is and the color code of the bus you get on.  The bus drivers simply run routes; they do not know where your car is.

There is no public parking on-base; all on-base parking is reserved for 911 AW personnel and air show performers.
